Create your own thumbnail galleries on the fly. Dig through private photo galleries for naughty pictures. Get rid of all the advertisements on commercial porn sites. These statements all describe the essense of Fusker.
Fusker kills the concept of serving free content alongside advertisements for sponsor websites. Doesn’t this sounds like the business model that TGP webmasters live off of? “Kills” is probably an overstatement though. You have to be a bit technically savvy to even use this Fusker technology. So the newbie or average porn surfer will be confused when confronted with a Fusker interface.
Anyway, Fusker’s learning curve is not that difficult and it is a great idea. You can type in a gallery url that is slightly modified with Fusker syntax to extract the target images from their source and display tham on a new webpage. This means you can have a clean display of all your favorite TGP pages like this and this.
Fusker works because we tend to number our photos in increasing numerical order. For example, in a folder, there would be pic1.jpg, pic2.jpg, pic3.jpg, and so on. Fusker takes advantage of this by looping through those expected numbers. Here’s a description of how Fusker works from Wikipedia:
For example, if you go to a fusker web page’s form and enter the text http://www.example.com/images/pic[1-16].jpg, the fusker technology would produce a page that displays all sixteen images in that range, from http://www.example.com/images/pic1.jpg through http://www.example.com/images/pic16.jpg. It is also possible to use lists of words by writing http://www.example.com/images/{small,medium,big}.jpg which will produce three urls, each with one word from the bracketed list. The web page is then presented to the person who did the fusker, and can also be saved on the fusker web server so that other people may view it.
Fusker also works for grabbing a bunch of personal photos from private personal galleries. Although legally questionable, this is a powerful tool to hone in and steal fresh amateur content. Photobucket galleries seem to be especially popular like this and this.
The following is a variety of websites that offer Fusker technology. These types of websites are rapidly getting shut down because of obvious copyright infringement issues, so let me know if you discover a new Fusker or see a broken link.
To complement Fusker, you can use a tool called Text Control Downloader to easily download a set of photos that you find. Just like Fusker, TCD loops through the url syntax to download a set of pictures to your desktop.
Fusker websites are still pretty primitive. The search functions are especially basic with a lot of room for improvement. Also, they can be more user-friendly by adding social bookmarking and networking features. Elements like tagging, comments, and upvoting can help sift through the heap of links on these Fusker sites.
