Some mainstream ideas simply won’t work in adult. One of them is social bookmarking websites like digg and deli.cio.us where you bookmark useful websites and others can vote on them. Social bookmarking works well in mainstream because there is a separation between users and content. It’s likely that the user who submitted the website is unrelated to the submitted content. However, in adult, an army of affiliate webmasters are trolling the internet to spam every form that they can submit to.
That’s why adult social bookmarking sites suck. Digg clones like SocialPorn and MoSexIndex, and del.icio.us clones like porn.a.licious. If you look on those websites, it’s just row after row of deliberate spam. The same webmasters submitting affiliate content galleries from the same domains.
But there is a sector in porn where social bookmarking seems to be taking off really well. Fantasti.cc is a new social bookmarking site for streaming porn videos on tube sites. The software development behind Fantasti.cc is a bit rudimentary. The entire website runs on frames, which is heresy in our generation of web applications. But, still, the idea is right and we must give Fantasti.cc props for successfully implementing aggregating videos from various portals, tagging, sharing collections, writing reviews.

Currently Fantasti.cc shows content from the following major porn tubes: Megarotic, YouPorn, Redtube, Pornotube, xTube, Yuvutu, with more to be added soon. Fantasti.cc takes the embed code for videos from these portals and aggregates and adds social value to them. The cool part is that Fantasti.cc benefits (for free) from all the embedded content from these other websites without having to pay the crazy bandwidth bills associated with streaming video.
Fantasti.cc has a dedicated community of members who are very active in the comments and reviews. It is unlike a porn site to have so much sincerity in the user comments. The admin urges users to contribute because only the users hold the power to improve a user-generated content website. Check out the call-to-action on the front page:
We all hate blatant advertising and spammy sidebars. Fantasti.cc strategically avoids this situation to retain its user-friendly image. We don’t see the usual Adult Friend Finder banners or AVN Ads that are prevalent on adult portals. So how does it make its money? I did spot one section that is an excellent affiliate scheme.
The webcams section lets you view and rate free “live shows” from Cams.com and LiveJasmine. You can see what webcam models other Fantasti.cc members are recommending and if you like her too, there’s a good chance you will sign up with the actual webcam site to get premium feeds. Meanwhile, Fantasti.cc collects the affiliate commission from these webcam sites. This is an excellent example of subtle, value-adding affiliate marketing.
Fantasti.cc has done an awesome job with social bookmarking for porn tubes. It will be interesting to see how this site finds other creative ways to monetize the traffic. Also, other aspiring Porn 2.0 websites can learn a lot about how to manage user-generated content for porn from the standard set by Fantasti.cc.

I just noticed your post, but on a side note, you shoudl add X-Digg.com to your list for adult social bookmarking sites. I believe it is one of the largest out there, and I know I get huge daily traffic from them. Just thought you should know.
