Haha, well the name came out of my first porn name which was Joey. I started with the name Joey and hated it for some reason. I thought I needed something different and not so common so i chose Jacky. The Joy part came from my first agent Adultfaces.com, he was like “Why not have a name similar to Jenna Jameson?” So Jacky Joy came about.

So you’re notorious at Penn State University by being known as the “Penn State Porn Star”… Can you briefly explain how you got into the porn business and how everyone at school found out about your work?
Well I got into this business by being on the notorious site called Myspace. Someone by the name of Mike for exploitedteens.com found me there and i did a site for him. SO from there i found an agent and did more like bangbus.com and exploitedteens.com too.
The reason everyone knows about me is because apparently guys have alot of time on their hand at school and look at bangbus a lot! Ha. So ya, I was considered the Bgirl Shuffle on that site and then the rumors started and I became popular.

Now, going to the main purpose of this interview, our blog’s theme is information technology, but we can be general and discuss technology in the broad sense. As a porn star, do you find yourself exposed to technology in any way? Also, how is being a porn star in 2007 different than it was 10 years ago?
Exposed to technology? I would say all the way. The reason is because I have to keep up with my websites at all times, so if it wasn’t for the internet I don’t think we would have a lot of internet-based porn. Which would make me not have a lot of money or make me known like I am today. Also, porn from 10 years ago and now 2007 is soo different because internet is more used today than back in the day. More work is provided today than 10 years ago.
Keeping Up With The Game
Obviously, everyone in the porn industry, including you, is trying to keep up or stay ahead of the rapidly developing technology associated with production and distribution. I see that you have your own website, so what are you doing and what do you plan on doing with that to stay on track?
Well, first, the jackyjoy.com is not my internet site. So really I’m doing nothing. But when I do get my site up and running it will be a lot of making movies once a month and taking pictures once a month to keep up my site and keep it updated and running. Then there is managing money, but that’s a whole another story…
