There has been speculation floating around about the Jessica Sierra sex tape being acquired by a major adult company. Today, Vivid Entertainment announced that it is releasing Jessica Sierra’s sex tape as part of its series of celebrity sex videos (others include Kim Kardashian and “Toastee“).
This is an example of great opportunistic marketing on Vivid’s part. Vivid will ride the wave generated from the mainstream buzz about an American Idol contestant’s scandalous sex tape. Even people who usually are not interested in porn will probably take a peek at Vivid’s website to see what the hype is all about.
There is already an official email submit landing page set up to pre-order the Jessica Sierra sex tape. Vivid is shipping these DVDs going for $34.95 from their Vivid.com Store on January 23.
